C3 Metrics, Inc. ("C3 Metrics," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information gathered through our website at c3metrics.com (the "Website"), our attribution measurement platform (the "Platform"), and related services (together, the "Services").
Please read this policy carefully. By using our Website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Our architecture is privacy-first by design. C3 Metrics' measurement platform does not rely on third-party cookies or device fingerprinting. Our media capture is cookie-less, and we do not ingest personally identifiable information (PII) as part of our attribution modeling. This is a deliberate architectural choice, not a compliance workaround.
When you contact us, request a demo, or communicate with us in any way, we may collect the information you submit — including your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and the content of your message.
If you become a client, we will collect credentials for platform access, billing information, company contact details, and information necessary to establish and fulfill a service contract.
When you visit our Website, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps of activity. This information is used to operate and improve the Website and is not used to identify individual visitors.
C3 Metrics operates an attribution measurement platform on behalf of its clients. The Platform collects data about browser and device interactions with client websites in order to build consumer journey models. See Section 4 for full details on Platform data collection.
We use the information we collect to:
Before we use your personal information for a purpose materially different from the purpose for which it was collected, or for which you later authorized, we will provide you with the opportunity to opt out. To exercise this right, contact us at privacy@c3metrics.com.
C3 Metrics operates a data collection and attribution modeling platform on behalf of its advertising clients. The Platform is designed to measure the effectiveness of advertising programs while respecting user privacy.
The Platform collects data about browser or device interactions with client websites to create "consumer journeys" — sequences of advertising exposures and site interactions that precede a conversion event. These journeys help clients understand which advertising touchpoints contributed to outcomes. The Platform does not collect personally identifiable information as part of this process.
The Platform may assign users to aggregated segments — such as "new visitor" or "returning customer" — to help clients understand the composition of their converting audiences. These segments are aggregated and do not identify individuals.
The Platform compares advertising traffic against known indicators of fraudulent activity, bot traffic, and other non-human or unidentifiable sources, in order to protect the quality of client measurement data.
Clients place, or authorize us to place, tracking pixels and JavaScript tags on their websites. These tags are designed to operate without third-party cookies. Our collection methodology is cookie-less and does not rely on device fingerprinting or any technique that requires the collection of PII.
Important distinction: Data collected through the Platform is collected on behalf of C3 Metrics' clients, and its use is governed by C3 Metrics' agreements with those clients. If you have questions about how a specific advertiser uses attribution data, you should consult that advertiser's own privacy policy.
C3 Metrics does not sell, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and analyze usage. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. Note that disabling cookies may affect some features of the Website.
Importantly, C3 Metrics' attribution Platform is specifically designed not to rely on third-party cookies for its measurement function. Our cookie-less architecture is a deliberate design principle, not a recent adaptation.
To opt out of tracking technologies entirely, you can manage settings through your browser or, for mobile devices, adjust your device's privacy settings.
C3 Metrics implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you transmit information to us at your own risk. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@c3metrics.com.
We retain personal information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Platform data collected on behalf of clients is retained in accordance with the terms of our client agreements.
You may request that we delete your personal information by contacting us at privacy@c3metrics.com. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain information.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that C3 Metrics holds about you. To make a request, contact us at privacy@c3metrics.com with sufficient detail to identify the information at issue.
You may also opt out of marketing communications from C3 Metrics at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.
